Jane Vance and her friend Jenna Swann and co-filmed and co-wrote Into Nepal: A Journey Into the Kathmandu Valley."

INTO NEPAL is the story of a teacher's incredible journey, and how the McGlothlin Award for Teaching Excellence mission to "bring the world into the classroom" has affected the classrooms and communities of our region. It is a production of Blue Ridge Public Television.

INTO NEPAL is the recipient of a 2003 NETA Award for Educational Projects. It was chosen from among the best productions of public television stations nationwide.

Producer Tom Landon accepted the award in New Orleans on January 9th, 2004.

The half-hour program is now nationally syndicated.
