Jane's large oil painting, Amchi has been donated to a Village in Nepal and you can read about this project on the website A Gift for the Village.
Jane is working on a series of paintings contemplating five Tibetan elements: Earth, Water Fire, Air, and Mind.
The Earth painting "These Things Grow" and the Water painting "The Great Churning" are completed.
In progress now is the Fire painting "The Rabbit in the Juniper." These paintings were exhibited in the Spring of 2005 at Apex Gallery in New York City.
Also in the Spring of 2005, Jane was the featured solo artist for the inaugural exhibition in the new wing of the Turchin Center, in Boone, North Carolina.

Apex Art: Sacred Wild

Sacred Wild will examine the way contemporary artists are drawn to sacred images and are using them in their everyday life. The six artists, four based in Virginia, one in Chicago and one in Colorado, incorporate or address the trend towards investigating one's personal spirituality over organized religious thought.
